When a man sleeps he only sees darkness. He cannot do anything. But when light comes he wakes up. He can do anything. An ignorant person is like a sleeping person. When he gets knowledge, he becomes powerful. So’we can say that light is the form of knowledge

जब कोई व्यक्ति सोता है तो उसे सिर्फ अन्धकार दिखाई देता है। वह कुछ भी करने में सक्षम नहीं होता। परन्तु जब सूर्य का प्रकाश फैलता है तो वह जाग उठता है। तब वह कुछ भी कर सकता है। एक अज्ञानी व्यक्ति भी सोए हुए व्यक्ति की तरह होता है। जब ज्ञान का प्रकाश उसके अज्ञान रूपी अन्धकार को दूर करता है तब वह प्रबुद्ध हो जाता है। इस प्रकार हम कह सकते हैं कि ज्ञान प्रकाश का स्वरूप है।

O Light! Central Idea of the Poem

The poet says that light is the soul of the sun. Later on he calls this light as wisdom and knowledge. The poet says that the nature is the enchanter, for it has created light. In the end the poet praises the light to prosper and bring the light of knowledge in this world.
